ABOUT ME

I am Gabriele Romeo, a jazz guitarist and educator based in Berlin. I studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, where I was awarded Best Guitarist in 2012.

Since moving to Berlin I have been performing as a solo guitarist and bandleader and studying with players like Jonathan Kreisberg, Ben Monder, Dario Chiazzolino and Francesco Buzzurro.

I have been teaching guitar for many years, helping students move from memorising shapes to really understanding harmony and improvising with confidence. The Pro Jazz Guitar Guide and my 12-Week Pro Jazz Guitar Course grew out of this work as a clear roadmap for ambitious jazz guitarists.
